With regard to Saturday’s Stonegate circular, please note that the outward train will now start from London Bridge, not Charing Cross as previously advertised, and that the departure and arrival times have altered slightly. There are no other changes.The revised details read as follows:
Saturday 10 October Meet STONEGATE station, East Sussex, 10.07 (London Bridge 8.48). A brisk-paced and hilly circular walk of about 15 miles and 1860ft/567m of ascent, in attractive countryside with views over the Sussex Weald. Via Bardown, Buttons, Tidebrook and Vicarage Wood to Mayfield for a picnic lunch (pub and café options for drinks only); then Sharndean Old Manor Farm, Combe Wood and Batt’s Wood to Stonegate station.
